I am so excited to be your student's US History teacher.  Let me take a few minutes to tell you a little bit about myself.  My husband, Chris, and I have 2 boys.  David is a senior at UTSA and Daniel is a 12th grader Round Rock High School.     

     This is my 27th year teaching.  I have been in the Round Rock School District for 24 years.  

     I strongly believe that my job is to help your child reach his or her fullest potential.  I will encourage the students to think critically about the topics we cover in class.  I believe that kids excel when expectations are set high.  Therefore, I will hold your child accountable for the highest level of academic achievement.  Every day I am with the students I will be working to make sure they reach that level.  When students succeed, they feel great.  When they feel great, they work toward continued success.  You have my promise to do everything in my power to ensure that your child reaches his/her fullest potential.

      Because I cannot do my job alone, I need your help.  Be there for your student with encouragement and support. Celebrate the accomplishments.  Show understanding and reassure them when things get frustrating. Together we will make it a successful year!
