Hello!  My name is Nicky Haulotte. I am a graduate of San Jose State University. My degree is a BA in Sociology.  I went on to get my Masters in Special Education from Western Governors University. I discovered my love of teaching through a service learning project the second semester of my senior year.  While it was too late to change my plan, I knew I had to become a teacher.  When my husband and I moved back to Texas I immediately enrolled in Texas Teaching Fellows and the rest is history!  I have spent the last 8 years in middle schools in RRISD, but am thrilled to call Walsh my home now. In my class, I hope to foster curiosity and ignite a passion for learning about the interesting stories and events that have shaped our world.  I am also the girl's soccer coach here at Walsh and love being a part of such a passionate group of players!

My husband, Kendall and I have been married for 12 years. We moved to Round Rock in 2007, but have lived in California, New York City, and Connecticut. We love our town and don't plan to move ever again!  We have two boys, Jackson 8 and Eli 6, that attend Cactus Ranch Elementary. When I'm not spending time with my family, I'm working out at Orangetheory Fitness, reading a great book, or playing with our new puppy Bella. I'm obsessed with trying new food, all things fashion, and sports!
